Appreciate your perspective. The context is that we don’t need people to say it over and over again. Someone who actually wants to help you won’t say that it’s okay to fail. They'll say that it’s okay to make mistakes.

I’m a teacher. Sometimes the only way to motivate a student is to tell them that they’ve failed. It’s the hard truth. That doesn’t mean you can’t also be a shoulder to cry on.
